[News Report] Fuan Gas Turbines Secures Opportunity to Enter the International Natural Gas Power Generation Market

In recent years, driven by technological advancements, global demand for electricity has surged. According to a report by the International Energy Agency, worldwide electricity demand is projected to double to 50,000 TWh by 2050. Gas-turbine–based natural-gas power-generation equipment occupies a pivotal position in the emerging power-sector landscape and serves as an essential complement to renewable-energy generation for peak-shaving and load balancing. According to Gas Turbine World magazine, from 2017 to 2023 a total of 1,445 gas turbines were commissioned in the power-utility sector, with a combined installed capacity of 229.25 GW. Over the next decade, global orders for gas turbines are expected to exceed US$137 billion, underscoring a promising market outlook. In the 2024–2025 period alone, gas-turbine–generated electricity output and total installed capacity are forecast to grow by 3.9% and 10.09%, respectively.
