On July 19, 2025, Liaoning Fuan Heavy Industry held its 2025 Mid-Year Production and Operations Conference, at which the company comprehensively reviewed its performance in the first half of the year. All production and operational targets exceeded the semi-annual projections, and key priorities for the second half of the year were outlined. The meeting served as a concrete demonstration of the company’s commitment to celebrating the 104th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, with in-depth discussions centered on the theme “Focusing on Full-Year Goals and Strengthening Strategic Execution.” General Manager Liu Aiguo, along with other company leaders including Li Jing, Wu Di, Li Jian, Qin Shuai, and Pan Changyi, attended the conference, which was chaired by Deputy General Manager Yu Guangyu.

At the outset of the meeting, representatives from all principal units delivered comprehensive summaries and reports on their production and business performance for the first half of the year. In terms of market development, the marketing team proactively responded to the challenging market environment, seized emerging opportunities, and continuously enhanced customer satisfaction, resulting in contract signings that exceeded the semi-annual targets. On the production and operations front, each unit optimized management processes and strengthened process control, leading to a significant improvement in operational efficiency; as a result, output value from casting, completed projects, and sales all achieved the goal of “more than half the time elapsed, more than half the tasks completed.” In the area of technological innovation, as a national high-tech enterprise, Fuan Heavy Industry has consistently increased its R&D investment, with R&D expenses for the first half of the year rising substantially year on year. Several R&D projects have made breakthrough advances: the semi-integral cast runner has progressed from R&D to manufacturing; the upper crown and lower ring have achieved a breakthrough in integral casting technology; deep-processing and delivery of finished outer casings to both domestic and international customers have been successfully implemented; and blade designs featuring one mold for two variants, along with other products, have undergone continuous optimization. These achievements provide a solid foundation for product iteration and upgrades, quality control, cost optimization, and schedule management. The accomplishments across all these areas fully demonstrate the company’s robust momentum toward high-quality development.
The meeting noted that, in the first half of the year, the company maintained steady and robust overall operations, with outstanding performance across key business metrics. All targets were met ahead of schedule—more than half of the year had elapsed, yet more than half of the annual tasks had been completed. Priority initiatives progressed smoothly, operational indicators aligned with expectations, and management efficiency continued to improve, thereby laying a solid foundation for achieving the full-year objectives. Notably, despite a complex and volatile market environment, the company ensured stable production and operations by strengthening internal management and optimizing resource allocation.

In his deployment of the second-half work, General Manager Liu Aiguo emphasized the need to advance three key priorities: First, expanding the company’s production capacity is the top priority in current operations and production. To achieve this, we must tap internal capacity potential and improve operational efficiency, leverage external resources through collaboration, and implement well-justified technological upgrades and capital investments, all aimed at significantly scaling up production capacity. Second, we must conduct a thorough review of quality-warning cases, reform traditional management practices, resolutely prevent any leakage of product-quality issues, strive to deliver high-quality projects, and continuously enhance customer trust. Third, we will initiate a feasibility study for the company’s comprehensive transformation toward digitalization and intelligent manufacturing. This study will systematically evaluate the transformation roadmap, the investment-return timeline, and potential implementation barriers, ensuring that decision-making is scientifically sound and resources are allocated efficiently.

Fuan Heavy Industry will take this conference as a new starting point to continuously strengthen the brand value of “Fuan Heavy Industry.” Upholding a spirit of innovation and a pragmatic, results-oriented approach, the company will leverage technological innovation to drive industrial upgrading, employ lean management to enhance operational efficiency, and make every effort to achieve its annual business objectives, thereby injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of the equipment manufacturing industry.
At the meeting, the heads of the Cast Steel Division, the Finished Products Division, the Machining Company, the Technology Research and Development Department, and the Quality Management Department each delivered work reports. Key leaders from relevant units and departments of the company attended the meeting.
