Recently, a high-level delegation from Tajikistan paid a visit to Liaoning Fuan Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., focusing on inspecting the production of core components for the Rogun Hydropower Station project and holding discussions on project delivery, quality control, and subsequent technical support.
The high-level Tajik delegation visiting this time was led by Mr. Khairullo Safarzoda, CEO of the Rogun Hydropower Station, and Mr. Pulod Mukhiddinien, Head of the Project Management Group for Energy Infrastructure Construction under the President of Tajikistan. The delegation included key project management personnel from the Rogun Hydropower Station—covering finance, legal affairs, equipment procurement, and project analysis—as well as representatives from the Tajik Ministry of Finance and the Tajik Embassy in China.

During the visit, the delegation toured the production workshops, closely inspecting the progress of manufacturing core components for the Rogun Hydropower Station project and gaining a thorough understanding of key aspects such as product quality control, manufacturing processes, production schedules, and delivery assurance. The Fu’an Heavy Industry project team provided a comprehensive briefing on the technical issues of particular interest to the delegation, and the two sides engaged in an in-depth exchange regarding future cooperation.
The Rogun Hydroelectric Power Plant (Rogun HPP), located on the upper reaches of the Vakhsh River in Tajikistan, approximately 100 kilometers from the capital, Dushanbe, is a landmark hydropower project for the country and a flagship energy initiative in Central Asia. It plays a crucial role in ensuring Tajikistan’s electricity supply and fostering regional economic development. With a total installed capacity of 3,780 MW, the plant will become the largest hydropower station in Central Asia upon completion. Its dam, standing at 335 meters, ranks among the world’s tallest earth‑rockfill dams. Once commissioned, the power plant will significantly enhance Tajikistan’s domestic energy security while facilitating cross‑border clean‑energy integration across the region, making it a cornerstone of the nation’s energy strategy. This delegation’s visit aims to advance coordination on the production and delivery of project components, further deepening pragmatic cooperation between the two sides in the field of hydropower in Central Asia. Since the inception of this collaborative project, our company has rigorously adhered to international technical standards and project specifications, implementing stringent quality control throughout the entire process, steadily advancing the manufacturing of key components, and fully supporting the achievement of critical construction milestones.

At the exchange ceremony, the delegation presented our company with an exquisitely crafted commemorative platter from the Republic of Tajikistan. The platter is housed in a wooden box and features on its surface engravings of Dushanbe’s iconic landmarks, accompanied by the country’s name, flag, and national emblem. As a high‑level diplomatic gift, it carries significant official recognition. The delegation stated that, following this on-site visit, they have gained a more direct and profound understanding of Fuan Heavy Industry’s manufacturing capabilities and are fully confident in the prospects for continued cooperation on the Rogun Project.
Company leadership extended a warm welcome to the delegation’s visit from afar. They pledged to cherish this valuable recognition from Tajikistan, steadfastly uphold quality standards, and strive for excellence in the production and delivery of components for the Rogun Project, leveraging robust heavy‑industry capabilities to ensure the successful construction of key overseas projects. Furthermore, they committed to deepening economic, trade, and technological mutual trust with Tajik partners, working together to build high‑quality energy infrastructure.
This visit has further strengthened the foundation for long-term cooperation between the two parties, enhanced mutual technical trust, and laid a solid groundwork for the continued expansion of our presence in the Central Asian market. Moving forward, Fuan Heavy Industry will remain committed to deepening its expertise in the overseas high-end equipment manufacturing sector, fulfilling the mission of bringing Chinese-made products to global markets through meticulously crafted solutions and professional services.
