       The 2025 Northeast Asia International Foundry and Thermal Processing Exhibition and the 23rd China International Equipment Manufacturing Expo were held concurrently on September 1 at the Shenyang International Exhibition Center. Liaoning Fuan Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., leveraging its independently developed "Ultra-wide-gauge heavy freight locomotive bogie" The company has been awarded the “Quality Castings” prize at the exhibition. This recognition not only highlights the enterprise’s technological prowess and pioneering role in innovation within the domestic and international casting industries, but also fully underscores Fuan Heavy Industry’s unwavering commitment to and promising prospects for its strategic transformation into the high-end and intelligent equipment sectors.

This model Wide-gauge truck frame This is a high-end cast component specially developed by Fuan Heavy Industry for Brazil’s freight rail system, featuring a track gauge of 2,184.4 millimeters—36% wider than the standard broad gauge—and capable of supporting a maximum axle load of 35 tonnes, a braking thermal capacity of 180 megajoules, and an ultra-long design life of 20 years or 2 million kilometers. All technical performance indicators are at the forefront of comparable international products. The component is manufactured from AAR M-201 Grade B material and, through precision casting processes combined with a rigorous quality-control system, achieves an integrated combination of high precision, high strength, and exceptional reliability.

　 　Over the past decade, Fuan Heavy Industry has successfully developed in this field. Various bogie types, including the steerable truck frame, the 40KTE bogie, and the G1/G2 bogie. The company has achieved multiple breakthroughs in the integral casting technology for freight locomotive bogies, including innovations such as spatial partitioned shrinkage compensation design, specialized pouring processes, and dedicated anti-deformation tooling. These advancements have effectively addressed key industry technical bottlenecks related to thin-wall filling, structural deformation, and internal quality control. The products have undergone a comprehensive suite of non-destructive testing methods—including UT, MT, and RT—as well as performance tests, with all performance metrics exceeding both customer technical specifications and international standards.

　　This award marks another prestigious industry recognition for Fuan Heavy Industry, following its successful supply of high-end bogies to the United States, Australia, and other countries, as well as its numerous domestic and international accolades. To date, the company holds 45 patents, including 22 invention patents, and has obtained multiple international certifications from organizations such as the Association of American Railroads (AAR), the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (NK), and Lloyd’s Register (LR). Its products are exported to numerous countries and regions worldwide.
