Recently, Liaoning Fuan Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Fuan Heavy Industry”) has once again achieved a technological breakthrough in the manufacturing of fully cast hydropower turbine runners. Following its successful deliveries in 2023 and 2024 of fully cast runners to the GE Vernova–CEVIZLIK Hydropower Station in Turkey and the Highbank Hydropower Station in New Zealand, respectively, Fuan Heavy Industry’s recently undertaken project for the fully cast runner at the Arghel Hydropower Station in Armenia has now smoothly passed acceptance inspection by both the client and the hydropower station’s expert team. This milestone signifies that Fuan Heavy Industry has reached a new level in its capability to manufacture large, complex, fully cast turbine runners.

Liaoning Fuan Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Fuan Heavy Industry”) has once again achieved remarkable success in the field of green energy equipment. Following the successful delivery on April 23, 2025, of the world’s largest single-unit-capacity, largest-size cast steel gate components for the Zala 500 MW impulse turbine unit, the company has recently secured another major new order for cast steel gate components for the Lianghekou Hydropower Station—a hybrid pumped-storage power station that ranks among the largest in the world and is located at one of the highest altitudes. These achievements underscore Fuan Heavy Industry’s outstanding new productive forces and continue to provide strong momentum for the implementation of China’s “dual carbon” strategy.

On October 14–15, 2025, a five-member delegation from Voith Austria, a subsidiary of the global leader in drive technology and equipment manufacturing, the Voith Group—comprising Thomas Schubert, Director of Procurement; Martin Gall, ICC Procurement Specialist at the Voith Group; Wolfgang Pfannhauser, Procurement Manager at Voith Austria; as well as Huang Heming, Senior Procurement Engineer for Castings and Forgings Materials in Voith’s Asia region, and Gao Yuanqi, Senior Quality Engineer—visited Fuan Heavy Industries to conduct an in-depth and comprehensive strategic collaboration assessment.

On September 9, 2025, Liaoning Fuan Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (stock code: 603315; short name: “Fuan Shares”) issued an announcement stating that its subsidiary, Liaoning Fuan Gas Turbine Co., Ltd. (short name: “Liaoning Gas Turbine”), together with Leshan High-tech Investment and Development (Group) Co., Ltd. (short name: “Leshan High-tech Investment”) and Leshan Characteristic and Advantage Equity Investment Fund Partnership (Limited Partnership) (short name: “Leshan Equity Fund”), plans to jointly invest in the establishment of Sichuan Fuan Gas Turbine Co., Ltd., with the aim of fully developing Leshan into a major base for gas turbine manufacturing.

The 2025 Northeast Asia International Foundry and Thermal Processing Exhibition and the 23rd China International Equipment Manufacturing Expo were held concurrently on September 1 at the Shenyang International Exhibition Center. Recently, the core rotor components—upper crown, lower ring, and blades—for the generator units manufactured by Liaoning Fuan Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. for Pakistan’s Mohmand Hydropower Project successfully passed quality inspection and were officially shipped for delivery.

On July 19, 2025, Liaoning Fuan Heavy Industry held its 2025 Mid-Year Production and Operations Work Conference, at which the company comprehensively reviewed its performance in the first half of the year. All production and operational targets exceeded the semi-annual projections, and key priorities for the second half of the year were outlined. The meeting served as a concrete demonstration of the company’s commitment to celebrating the 104th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, with in-depth discussions centered on the theme “Focusing on Full-Year Goals and Strengthening Strategic Execution.” General Manager Liu Aiguo, along with other company leaders including Li Jing, Wu Di, Li Jian, Qin Shuai, and Pan Changyi, attended the conference, which was chaired by Deputy General Manager Yu Guangyu.
