Recently, Fuan Heavy Industry successfully manufactured and delivered to the Karakaş Hydroelectric Power Plant in Turkey the critical core components of its large-scale turbine—namely the upper crown, lower ring, and blades—after passing rigorous inspections conducted by both the project owner and Zhejiang Saibo. This milestone underscores another significant breakthrough for Fuan Heavy Industry in the international high-end hydropower equipment manufacturing sector.
The components delivered this time are the core to the efficient and stable operation of the turbine, with particularly stringent requirements for material properties, precision machining, and welding processes in the fabrication of the upper crown, lower ring, and blades. Adhering to the principles of continuous improvement and pursuit of excellence, the Fuan Heavy Industry project team implemented a meticulous quality-control program throughout the entire manufacturing cycle. Through repeated process optimization and rigorous in-process monitoring, all components ultimately met the contract’s exacting technical specifications and quality standards, earning high praise from both the customer and the owner’s representatives for their exceptional performance.
During the final acceptance phase, an acceptance team comprising representatives from the client of the Karakaya Hydropower Station in Turkey and Zhejiang Cyber’s customers conducted a comprehensive and meticulous inspection of the components’ critical dimensions, geometric tolerances, material properties, and non-destructive testing results. All acceptance items were successfully passed on the first attempt, and all performance parameters met both the contractual guarantees and the client’s quality requirements, thereby fully demonstrating Fuan Heavy Industry’s robust technical capabilities and reliable quality assurance system.

Karacaya Hydropower Station in Turkey
The Karakaya Hydroelectric Power Station is located on the Euphrates River in Turkey and forms the downstream cascade of the Keban Dam. The project is primarily intended for power generation; it features a concrete gravity-arch dam with a maximum height of 173 meters and a total reservoir capacity of approximately 9.6 billion cubic meters. The power station has an installed capacity of 1.8 million kilowatts and an annual generation of 7.35 billion kilowatt-hours.
