On May 19, 2025, a three-member delegation from Voith GmbH & Co., KGaA, including Mr. Johannes Pfitzer, Global Procurement Manager for Castings and Forgings; Mr. Peter Martin, Chief Engineer and Lead Project Designer; and Mr. Huang Heming, Senior Procurement Engineer for Casting and Forging Materials in Asia, visited Fuan Heavy Industry. During the visit, the two parties engaged in an in-depth exchange on collaboration within the casting supply chain.
Focus on Technology, Collaborate for Development
At the outset of the meeting, Fuan Heavy Industry delivered a comprehensive presentation—featuring a corporate promotional video and a dedicated PowerPoint deck—highlighting its technological prowess and global footprint in the heavy equipment manufacturing sector. General Manager Liu Aiguo stated: “Fuan has always placed technological innovation at the core of our growth strategy, and we look forward to establishing a long-term strategic partnership with Voith in the high-end casting segment to jointly enhance the resilience of the industrial value chain.”
On-site Inspections to Deepen Mutual Trust
Accompanied by Yu Guangyu, Deputy General Manager of the company, Voith’s leadership team conducted an in-depth visit to Fuan’s production front lines, touring the Steel Casting Division, the Finished Products Division, the Machining Company, and the National-Level Testing Center. Mr. Peter Martin, Voith’s Chief Engineer, highly commended Fuan’s process and technological capabilities. He noted that Fuan’s quality control capabilities and process standards are truly impressive, and that Fuan’s precision machining equipment and expertise fully meet Voith’s requirements for the precision finishing and delivery of its products, thereby laying a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two companies.
Discussing the Future, with Promising Cooperation
During the meeting, the two parties engaged in an in-depth discussion on issues such as materials procurement, technical standards, and delivery efficiency. Mr. Johannes Pfitzer, Voith’s Global Procurement Manager, stated that Fuan’s capabilities in equipment manufacturing are truly impressive, particularly its outstanding ability to deliver both castings and precision-machined components. He pledged to actively promote Fuan to his colleagues at Voith Germany, with the aim of further expanding the scope and depth of bilateral business cooperation.
Huang Heming, Senior Procurement Engineer for Castings and Forgings in the Asia region, pointed out that Voith and Fuan have consistently maintained a strong cooperative relationship. In particular, over the past two years, Fuan has undergone significant transformation, with steady improvements in product quality. He emphasized that during this visit to Fuan, he was impressed by the company’s efficient and well-organized on-site production, especially the impressive volume of hydropower products, which has bolstered his confidence in future collaboration.
This exchange not only deepened mutual understanding between the two parties but also laid a solid foundation for future cooperation. Both sides expressed their commitment to leveraging this opportunity to further enhance communication and collaboration, jointly address market challenges, and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
