On May 28–29, 2024, a five-member delegation from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.’s Hitachi Plant—including Acting Plant Manager Shuichi Shibata, Head of the Manufacturing Management Department Kosei Hasegawa, Chief Superintendent Hiroyuki Inatani, Director of the Manufacturing Management Department Naruharu Mayama, and Chu Jinshan, Procurement Officer at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (Shanghai)—visited Fuan Heavy Industry to conduct a plant-capacity audit and engage in in-depth, cordial business discussions.

On this visit, the company’s leadership attached great importance to the occasion. Lu Siqi, Vice Chairman of Fuan Heavy Industry, Liu Aiguo, General Manager, and Yu Guangyu, Deputy General Manager, led the Company’s Quality Management Department, Technology R&D Department, and Marketing Department in meeting with the client.
The team engaged in in-depth exchanges, thoroughly discussing issues such as enhancing product quality, shortening manufacturing lead times, strengthening bilateral cooperation, and fostering shared development, while jointly envisioning the prospects for future collaboration.
During the meeting, Mr. Lü Siqi, Vice Chairman of Fuan Heavy Industry, extended a warm welcome to Mr. Shibata and his delegation, expressed gratitude for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries’ longstanding trust and support, and arranged for staff to present an overview of Fuan Heavy Industry’s production and operations, the interim achievements made in quality improvement, and the measures planned for continued enhancement in quality control and schedule management going forward.
Liu Aiguo, General Manager of Fuan Heavy Industry, stated that the recent visit by the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries team has further deepened the cooperative relationship between the two companies. He emphasized that a strong brand is a vital symbol of high-quality corporate development and a key pillar for an enterprise’s survival and growth. In recent years, Fuan Heavy Industry’s progress has been inseparable from the assistance and support of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, and it is our shared aspiration that the two sides will continue to engage in extensive and diversified collaboration. Moving forward, Fuan Heavy Industry will remain committed to technological innovation and quality enhancement, uphold its pledge to deliver on time, and adhere to the business philosophy of “high-end castings and first-class service,” thereby consistently providing Mitsubishi Heavy Industries with premium products and services.
Mr. Shibata, Acting Plant Manager, stated that this visit to Fuan Heavy Industries after a four-year hiatus once again underscored the company’s remarkable rapid development, thereby laying a solid foundation for continued cooperation between the two parties. Through briefings on Fuan Heavy Industries’ initiatives in quality control and quality improvement, as well as on-site inspections that revealed recent transformations in the company’s production-floor management—particularly the successful implementation of its three-year “Brightening” project, which has thoroughly enhanced the working environment on the shop floor—Mr. Shibata expressed even greater confidence in Fuan Heavy Industries’ ability to serve as Mitsubishi Heavy Industries’ most important supplier of castings and machined components. With its professional expertise, outstanding product quality, and rigorous adherence to project schedules, Fuan Heavy Industries consistently delivers high-quality products to Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Looking ahead, the two companies will further strengthen exchanges at all levels, leverage their respective strengths in high-end energy-equipment manufacturing, explore new avenues for collaboration, and work together to promote high-quality development in key energy sectors, thereby making fresh and greater contributions to global green emission reduction.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the two sides engaged in an in-depth exchange on future cooperation. Mr. Shibata endorsed Fuan’s goal of achieving a new record in sales since the inception of their partnership, expressing confidence that, thanks to Fuan’s relentless efforts and steady progress, it will undoubtedly become Mitsubishi’s most formidable supplier. To demonstrate his recognition of Fuan Heavy Industries’ comprehensive improvements, Mr. Shibata personally inscribed the words “Fuan Strives” on the spot.

The visit by the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries team has not only strengthened mutual understanding and trust between the two companies but has also laid a solid foundation for future collaboration. Taking this factory capability audit and business visit as a new starting point, both sides will continue to deepen their exchanges and cooperation in product quality, technology, and services, thereby ushering in a new chapter of in-depth integration and collaboration across technology, quality, and business operations.
