Liaoning Fu'an Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Fu'an Heavy Industry") has achieved great success in the field of green energy equipment. After successfully delivering the world's largest single unit capacity and large-sized Zhala 500 MW impulse water turbine valve cast steel parts on April 23, 2025, the company has recently won a new order for valve cast steel parts for the world's largest and high-altitude hybrid pumped storage power station - Lianghekou Water Station, injecting strong momentum into the implementation of China's "dual carbon" strategy with outstanding new quality productivity of Fu'an Heavy Industry.

The Lianghekou Pumped Storage Power Station is currently the world's largest and China's high-altitude hybrid pumped storage power station. The power station is located on the main stream of the Yalong River in Yajiang County, Garze Prefecture, Sichuan Province, about 25km upstream of Yajiang County. It is a control reservoir power station project for the cascade power stations in the middle and lower reaches of the Yalong River, which has a significant impact on the development of the entire Yalong River cascade power station. The Lianghekou valve steel castings produced this time are the core components of pumped storage units, with a net weight of 115 tons, a large outline size of 5 meters, and a height of nearly 4 meters. Their technical difficulty and manufacturing accuracy are at the advanced level in the industry.

Faced with this challenging task, Fu'an Heavy Industry immediately formed a special project team composed of senior technical experts and quality experts. The team fully drew on the successful experience of the Zhala valve project and fully utilized simulation technology to successfully overcome key technical difficulties such as "high density internal quality assurance for thick castings" and "high-precision forming and control of large-size weight reducing valve steel castings". At present, the product of this project has completed process design, simulation, and full scheme process review, and this project has officially entered the orderly production stage.
