Recently, a delegation of sixteen hydropower industry experts—including Mr. Mario Josef Kandlbauer, Global Procurement Manager at Andritz’s Austrian headquarters (Austria), and Mr. Thomas Aigelsdorfer, Project Manager (Austria); Mr. Yang Yatao, Quality Director for Andritz China, and Ms. Yang Yunmei, Deputy Director of Procurement; Dr. Michael Raeder, Deputy General Manager of the Luang Prabang Project Owner (Germany), Mr. Rajesh Razdan, Assistant to the General Manager (India), Mr. Weerayot Chalermnon, Deputy Project Manager (Thailand), and Mr. Sasa Ziza, Senior Engineer from the third-party inspection company (Serbia)—visited Fuan Heavy Industry to conduct a factory capability audit and perform product acceptance on the first set of blades manufactured by Fuan for the Luang Prabang Project.
During this visit, the company’s leadership accorded it the highest priority. Liu Aiguo, General Manager of Fuan Heavy Industry, led teams from the Quality Management Department, the Technology R&D Department, the Marketing Department, and the customer service team in conducting in-depth exchanges with the client. Through these discussions, Fuan fully showcased its strengths in equipment capabilities, technological R&D, and quality control to Andritz’s clients and the project owner team in Luang Prabang, thereby demonstrating Fuan’s manufacturing prowess through the quality of its products.
Under the leadership of company management and with the concerted efforts of all employees, the company successfully passed the factory audit and product acceptance conducted by the client for the Luang Prabang project. The client’s team carried out a rigorous audit of Fuan’s on-site operations and quality management system, and also performed final acceptance inspections on the first set of blades, including chemical composition analysis, mechanical property testing, hardness measurement, and non-destructive testing. All results met the customer’s requirements. Fuan Heavy Industry’s comprehensive quality management system, its capability to produce high-end, premium-quality castings, and its world-class service have earned high recognition and praise from both the customer and the client.
This factory audit and product acceptance were both successfully completed on the first attempt, not only ensuring the smooth delivery of the products but also leaving a profound impression on Andritz and the project owner. This achievement underscores Fuan Heavy Industry’s technical expertise in the manufacturing of high-end castings and lays a solid foundation for further deepening and expanding our collaboration with Andritz. Moving forward, Fuan Heavy Industry will continue to supply premium core components for hydropower generation to the renewable energy sector, thereby contributing to the global goals of green economic development and effective climate governance.
