EPC General Contracting Project for Flue Gas Denitrification of Coking Furnaces at Coking Plant No. 1, Shenhua Mengxi Coal Chemical Co., Ltd.
Shenhua Mengxi Coal Chemical Co., Ltd.’s Coking Plant No. 1 is equipped with two 4.3-meter, 50-chamber pusher-type coke ovens, with an annual coke production capacity of 700,000 tonnes. The entire plant utilizes coke oven gas generated on-site for regenerative heating, resulting in flue gas emissions of approximately 150,000 Nm³ per hour after combustion. 3 /h, the flue gas temperature in the main coke oven stack is 280–310°C, and two coke ovens share a single 95-meter chimney for direct discharge. The initial sulfur dioxide emissions from the flue gas are 250–350 mg/m³. 3 , nitrogen oxides are 550–650 mg/m 3 , particulate matter at 50 mg/m 3 The following: To further reduce nitrogen oxide emissions from flue gas, a new denitrification unit for coke oven flue gas will be constructed.
This project is being implemented under an EPC general contracting arrangement, with scope of work encompassing all aspects of the 700,000-ton coke oven flue-gas denitrification system at Coking Plant No. 1, including safety assessment, construction drawing design, fire protection design, construction, procurement and supply, installation, commissioning, trial production operation, technical services and training, environmental protection acceptance, safety acceptance, and fire protection acceptance.
