Recently, the large-scale hydraulic turbine core components - the upper crown, lower ring, and blades - carefully manufactured by Fu'an Heavy Industry for the Karakaş Hydroelectric Power Plant project in Türkiye have successfully passed the rigorous inspection by the owners of the Karakaş Hydroelectric Power Plant and the customers of Zhejiang Saibo, and have been officially put into operation and delivered. This marks another significant breakthrough for Fu'an Heavy Industry in the field of international high-end hydropower equipment manufacturing.
 

The components delivered this time are the core of efficient and stable operation of the hydraulic turbine, especially the manufacturing of the upper crown, lower ring, and blades, which have extremely stringent requirements for material properties, precision machining, and welding processes. The Fuan Heavy Industry project team has always adhered to the concept of excellence and pursuit of excellence, implementing a comprehensive quality control plan throughout the entire manufacturing cycle. Through repeated process optimization and strict process monitoring, all components were ultimately ensured to fully meet the stringent technical specifications and quality standards stipulated in the contract. In the final acceptance phase, the acceptance team, consisting of representatives from the owner of the Karakay Hydropower Station in Türkiye and customers from Zhejiang Saibo, conducted a comprehensive and detailed inspection of the key dimensions, form and position tolerances, material properties, and non-destructive testing of the components. All acceptance items were successfully passed in one attempt, and all performance met the contract guarantees and quality requirements of the owner, fully demonstrating the strong technical strength and reliable quality assurance system of Fu'an Heavy Industry.

Karakay Hydroelectric Power Plant in Türkiye
The Karakayak Hydropower Station is located on the Euphrates River in Türkiye, serving as the downstream cascade of the Keban Dam. The project is primarily used for power generation, featuring a concrete gravity arch dam with a maximum height of 173 meters and a total reservoir capacity of approximately 9.6 billion cubic meters. The installed capacity of the power station is 1.8 million kW, with an annual power generation of 7.35 billion kW•h.
