In recent years, with the advancement of technology, the global electricity market demand has surged. According to a report by the International Energy Agency, global electricity demand is expected to double to 50.000 TWh by 2050. Natural gas power generation equipment with gas turbines as the core occupies an important position in the new layout of the power industry and is a necessary component of renewable energy power generation peak shaving complementarity. According to Gas Turbine World magazine, the number of gas turbines used in the power utility industry worldwide from 2017 to 2023 is 1445, with a power generation installed capacity of 229.25GW. The total global orders for gas turbines in the next decade will exceed 137 billion US dollars, and the market prospects are relatively broad. Only in the fiscal year 2024-2025, the power generation and total installed capacity of gas turbines will increase by 3.9% and 10.09% respectively.

For a long time, the Chinese gas turbine market was controlled by foreign brands such as Sola GE、 International gas turbine industry giants represented by Mitsubishi and Siemens occupy almost all of the domestic and international markets. With the gradual achievements of China's "Major Science and Technology Projects for Aircraft Engines and Gas Turbines", large state-owned enterprises represented by Dongfang Turbine Factory, Qingdao Guosheng Gas Turbine, Longjiang Guanghan Gas Turbine, etc. have also made significant breakthroughs in the research and development and manufacturing of heavy-duty gas turbines in recent years. However, due to the relatively short development history of the industry and the need for time to cultivate brand awareness, there is still some room for growth between the influence of domestic gas turbines in the global market and their product potential.

Liaoning Fu'an Gas Turbine Co., Ltd. has obtained fully independent intellectual property rights for 10MW and 4MW heavy-duty structural gas turbines since 2017 by introducing mature Russian technology teams and prototypes, digesting, absorbing and reproducing them. The 10MW gas turbine achieved full speed no-load operation in 2019. At present, the Fu'an gas turbine has completed all the design work for the integrated set of 10MW power plant, and has preliminarily met the practical operating conditions of the power plant.

Compared to the international market, the market environment for natural gas power generation in China is unique, with differentiated features in resource distribution, price mechanisms, and supporting systems. This requires domestic gas turbine enterprises to spend more time exploring adaptation paths and innovative models in the process of market-oriented operation. At the same time, the international market has high entry barriers due to technical standards, certification systems, and localized operational requirements, which pose certain challenges for domestic gas turbine enterprises to expand into overseas markets.

Recently, the increasing demand for electricity in Russia, Central Asia, and Africa has brought broad prospects for the development of the gas turbine industry. With the launching of the "the Belt and Road" strategy, going out with domestic gas turbines has become a realistic goal. The product technology of Fu'an gas turbine comes from Russia and has a natural adaptability and blood relationship with the Russian market. This is also the main driving force for Fu'an gas turbine to achieve breakthroughs in the context of "deepening cooperation between China and Russia".

Not long ago, a delegation from a Russian energy company requested to conduct research and investigation on the Fu'an gas turbine. Through research, members of the Russian delegation highly recognize the advanced technology, reliable quality, and efficient energy-saving performance of Fu'an gas turbine products.
